Peninsula’s design was inspired by London’s iconic Tate Modern Museum and features nine metre high ceilings, exposed trusses and huge floor to ceiling windows flanked by the original loading doors of the shed.
Peninsula has a contemporary colour palette of black, white and grey and includes a stunning 66-metre crystal chandelier streaking along one side of the room.
This spectacular venue is one of the largest in Victoria with a capacity of 1488 for a sit down dinner and 2500 guests for a cocktail party.

In keeping with the versatility of the venue, a wide selection of speciality food stations are available as well as an informal BBQ menu.
It's easy to drive to Docklands via the many roads leading into the area. Make your way to Harbour Esplanade. Travelling south down Harbour Esplanade from Latrobe Street you will approach large palms and notice Channel 7 on the left hand side. Ensure you are in your right hand lane and make a right hand U-turn over the centre island. Quickly move into the left hand lane, turning left over the tram causeway and into the main entrance between Shed 9 and 14. Security will direct you from this point.
From Bourke Street travelling north, ensure you are in the left hand lane and make a left turn before the palm, over the tram causeway and into the main entrance between Shed 9 and 14.

Southern Cross Station (formerly Spencer Street Station) is Melbourne's main rail interchange for suburban, regional, and interstate trains and is located right on Docklands' doorstep. At Southern Cross Station, exit at the northern end to walk over the Bourke Street Pedestrian Bridge to Harbour Esplanade. Alternatively, exit the station on the corner of Spencer and Collins Streets, and walk over the Collins Street Bridge to Docklands Park.
